Fictions benefits

There are so many benefits to fiction.  All have been medically proven as real benefits. There are some benefits  you know and some that you might have even realized. This is just a few of the many benefits that come from fiction. Per the website https://shakesandbakes.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/article-why-fiction-is-good-for-you1.pdf it says “fiction's benefits are enhancing understanding people, it enhances empathy and reduces stress. Though fiction's happy endings seem to wrap our sense of reality.”

History of fiction

Fiction has been around for a very long time per https://krieger.jhu.edu/modern-languages-literatures/faculty-books/the-man-who-invented-fiction/  "In the early 17th century, a crippled, graying, almost toothless veteran of Spain’s wars against the Ottoman Empire published a book. It was the story of a poor nobleman, his brain addled from reading too many books of chivalry, who deludes himself that he is a knight errant and sets off on hilarious adventures. That book, Don Quixote, went on to sell more copies than any other book beside the Bible, making its author, Miguel de Cervantes, the single most-read author in human history. Cervantes did more than just publish a bestseller, though. He invented a way of writing. This book is about how Cervantes came to create what we now call fiction, and how fiction changed the world."

Fiction

There are so many different subcategories that go in to fiction. These are the main three that are most common in my opinion along with the benifits of fiction. I hope this helps answer any questions you had and see why I believe fictions shouldn't be forgotten.

Benifits

There are so many benefits to fiction and nonfiction. All have been medically proven as real benefits. There are also so many studies that helped prove the benefits. There are some benefits, some you know and some that you might have even realized. What benefits do you know about when it comes to fiction and nonfiction?

Books

Did you know fiction books have been proven to be checked out more than nonfiction books? This is due to many factors like age , preference and objective of the books. Yet fiction books are now becoming less and less popular as time goes on. Fiction books are also being forgotten in most places saying they aren't needed.

Video games

Studies have proven that videos have some amazing benefits and are actually good for you in moderation. Just like in books though fiction games are popular they are starting to lost that popularity. I personally would rather play a fiction game than nonfiction but do see they do both serve a purpose.

Puzzles

Did you know puzzles have been medically proven to be good for you? Just like the other two sub categories, fiction is slowly being forgotten and not neded. Though they also have differences and serve different purposes. I rather do fiction puzzles and find them better than nonfiction puzzles, but do understand nonfiction puzzles are needed as well as have a use.
